Woman mortified as dad mistakes bra cups for bowls - and serves food in them

It's fair to say that some men don't always understand the complexity of women's clothing and accessories. Granted, women sometimes feel equally perplexed, but if you were to show bra padding to women, most could confidently identify the common item. Used in everything from underwear to bathing suits, the padding works as shapewear and prevents swimsuits from going see-through when the wearer takes to the water.

They can also be used as snack bowls, or so one father mistakenly believed, much to his daughter's embarrassment. A woman has delighted people online after her dad reportedly served her family food using her bathing suit's padded cups on a recent holiday - not realising their real purpose - and she shared a photo of the mishap.

Posting to TikTok as @emilyvogelplease, the holidaymaker was happy to laugh about the moment, although she also revealed she found it embarrassing.

In the hilarious video, two portions of snack-sized pretzels can be seen nestled inside two cups. "Omg my dad found my bathing suit pads drying and thought they were little snack bowls," explains the onscreen caption.

In a later comment, Emily adds: "This actually happened on our family vacation last week. If u met my dad you’d understand." And viewers could not stop laughing after watching the clip, according to comments left on the now-viral video.

One person said: "I can’t even express how hard I laughed." A second wrote: "I AM LAUGHING SO HARD."

And another added: "My neighbours just heard my cackle."

Several people also said the men in their lives had or could have made similar mistakes.

"Lmao this is definitely something my husband would do," read one such reply.

"I did the same but my dad thought they were knee protectors," said someone else.

And a different person said: "Hahaha this is so good! I could see my dad doing this too. We love our dads for it though."
