Woman mistakenly sends clip of her mocking job interview to prospective employer

A woman has lived out every jobseeker's worst nightmare after accidentally videoing herself taking the mick out of her prospective employer's questions during the actual interview process.

In a TikTok video that will make you laugh and sweat in equal measures, jobseeker Chaylene Martinez - who goes by the username @chayjordan - can be seen on the phone making fun of the questions asked during an interview with SkyWest airlines.

As part of her application, the hopeful flight attendant had to record herself giving an answer to "the stupidest cheesiest question I've ever heard in my life".

Unfortunately, while she moaned to a friend about the video interview, she had no clue whatsoever that she'd actually begun recording too early.

In a tone that will no doubt strike fear into the hearts of anyone who has ever had to go through the rigmarole of an online job interview during the pandemic, Chaylene can be heard openly mocking an interview question to a friend over the phone.

The offending question here was "what is your impression of SkyWest's company culture, and how does that resonate with you".

Slamming it as "the stupidest cheesiest question I've ever heard in my life", Chaylene admitted to her unseen friend that she couldn't "word this properly,” sighing "you have to record yourself saying it so it’s so awkward".

As she leaned forward to practice her answer, the realisation that she was already being filmed suddenly dawned, and the flood of rising panic was clear to see.

After initially attempting to give an explanation to the camera, the moment when Chaylene ultimately realised her application was toast became abundantly clear when she murmured a helpless little "sorry".

Many of Chaylene's followers have commiserated with her extremely relatable plight, with some joking about the unexpected 'positives' of her hellish interview.

One person noted, "look at the initiative she’s taking practising, calling friends to rope them in", while another remarked that Chaylene “Adjusts and problem solves, showcasing collaborating skills through video and proficiency in technical aspects”.

A SkyWest employee even waded in, revealing: "I work for SkyWest and this made its way to the SkyWest Facebook page, and let me just tell you every comment is all of us saying "PLEASE hire her' Lmfao".
