Dramatic images show a woman starting to cry black tears with her whole eyeball black like a scene from a horror film after a make-up error.
Holly Rogers was videoing herself getting ready for dinner with friends on Saturday, April 8, when she opened her right eye to assess her winged eyeliner style and got a shock.
The 29-year-old is repeatedly heard saying "Oh my God" as a large blob of the black liquid quickly seeped behind her contact lenses and turned her whole eyeball black "like a demon in a horror movie".
Panicked Holly asks "is it coming out of my nose?" before black liquid drips from her nostril.
The moment has been compared to Billie Eilish's dramatic music video for her hit song 'When The Party's Over' where she drinks black liquid and it drips from both eyes as she sings.
Holly's viral video has been viewed more than six million times with users stunned by how calm she was during the "traumatic" five-minute ordeal.
She insists she found the incident "quite cool" but she does admit she was a little concerned what might happen next when it began seeping from her nose.
The marketing worker believes leaving her eyeliner bottle lying on its side in a drawer was the cause for having too much liquid on her brush.
Holly, from Los Angeles, California, said: "It felt like I was in a horror movie a little bit but I kind of found it cool. Some people have compared it to the Billie Eilish video and it looks just like it.
"Because I had my contact in the liquid accumulated and made me look like I had a little demon eye. I couldn't see anything, it was all black.
"I just felt like I had an eyelash stuck in my eye. It didn't burn, which I was surprised about.
"I felt black on my nose and thought It had rubbed off my fingers but then I felt it dripping. That's when I didn't know what to do. I didn't know how much was in my sinuses.
"I was a little concerned at that point. I had to keep wiping it. I'm surprised by how much there was. It was a weird body experience. I've been asked why I stayed so calm but it didn't hurt and after years of doing eye makeup and having contacts I'm not weirded-out by that kind of stuff.
"I was just making fun videos pretending to be a makeup influencer for my friends. When it happened I just carried on talking to my friends and I thought the video would make them laugh.
"I was relieved it stopped because it was making me late but I wiped it all away and fixed my make-up. I kept checking in case some more dripped throughout the night but luckily it didn't."
The make-up lover says it's funny to watch back and she thinks it's 'bonkers' that so many people have seen it.
Her post is captioned: "Please take a journey with me into my traumatic afternoon."
One commented: "You were too chill for this I would have been screaming."
A second said: "The minute that eyeliner went onto the bottom lid, that would have been me not going out. I admire your dedication and determination."
Another wrote: "I would have been so dramatic if this was happening to me. I panic when an eyelash is on my contact."
