Woman left looking like 'Big Bird in Sesame Street' after buying £250 ASOS dress

A woman was left in stitches after ordering a glam £240 dress from ASOS - as it left her looking like 'Big Bird in Sesame Street'.

Sabrina Stewart was excited after ordering the dress from the online fashion retailer, and she took to TikTok to share the outcome.

In her video, Sabrina showed the image which advertised the dress - and the model looks incredibly stylish in the flowing green gown, covered in 'textured mesh'.

Then she showed a clip of herself wearing it and it doesn't quite look right - as she looks she's wearing a costume, or like Big Bird but without the head.

This is what Sabrina expected the dress to look like (@sabrinalstewartTikTok)
But this was the reality (@sabrinalstewartTikTok)

What do you think about Sabrina's dress? Let us know in the comments...

Taking to TikTok, where she uploads as @sabrinalstewart, Sabrina said: "I ordered an Easter dress from Asos thinking I really did something."

The advert that Sabrina shows includes the price, a whopping $320 (£244), but thankfully she wasn't too upset by the wasted effort.

She soon added: "My audition to play Big Bird in Sesame Street on Broadway is tomorrow, wish me luck."

Sabrina's video has been viewed more than 500,000 times and soon she was inundated with comments from fellow TikTok users.

One said: "It looked so promising too but came out like a piñata."

Then a second wrote: "The reviews haha trust that two stars. The colour is nice on you though!"

And a third added: "That’s pretty I would have ordered it too."

"It looked so cute, but it’s giving Sesame Street vibes," commented another user.

"Lol no, you could tell it was gonna be bad from the website."
