Woman injured as 'dog attacks another dog'

A woman was left injured after a dog 'attacked another dog' in Radcliffe.

Police were called to the scene of the incident on Victoria Street this morning (Friday). According to eyewitnesses, two dogs became embroiled in an attack.

A woman suffered injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing, police said. A dog was seized by officers.

Enquiries into the incident are ongoing. In a statement, a Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: "This morning (30 June 2023), Greater Manchester Police responded to an incident with a dog on Victoria Street in Radcliffe.

"A woman received injuries that are thankfully not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing. A dog has been seized by officers and enquiries are ongoing.”
