A young woman is being treated in hospital after being gored by a bull during a festival in Spain.
The incident happened in Aldemayor de San Martin in Valladolid as people took to the streets to celebrate the running of the bulls.
Excited festivalgoers line the roads as part of a celebration in honour of a patron saint.
The young woman, 22, was gored in the right thigh by one of the angered bulls after she was knocked over.
She is a stable condition in hospital, authorities said.
It happened towards the end of the final urban part of the bull run on Constitucion street in the municipality, at around 10.30am last Saturday.
It's thought the bystander entered the route near where the herd of bulls were and one of them decided to attack her.
In a last stitch attempt to try and stop the attack some men waiting nearby tried to taunt the bull to catch its attention, but the mammal ignored and attacked the girl as she ran by.
The victim was left lying on the street with her gruesome injuries which saw the bull's horn pierce her leg.
She is being treated for her injuries at the Clinical Hospital of Valladolid after she was taken there by ambulance.
A similar incident happened last month when a reveller cheated death after being mauled by a bull during an annual Spanish festival following three fatal gorings in 24 hours.
The bare-chested man was pinned down for nearly half a minute by the angry animal as its horns came dangerously close to his head and stomach.
It was part of the famous San Fermin festival in the northern city of Pamplona, known internationally as the Running of the Bulls, which was being held for the first time in two years in July.
No-one was killed but several revellers suffered gore injuries along the half-mile course through the old town as they tried to outrun the bulls before they were guided into pens at the back of the bullring.
