A woman in her 40s has been hospitalised following a crash involving a car and a truck on the M11 on Friday.
Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of the serious traffic collision that occurred on the M11 Southbound at around 3pm.
The M11 had been closed in both directions between junctions 23 and 24 while the scene was being attended by emergency personnel.

In a statement gardai said: “Gardaí attended a two vehicle road traffic collision that occurred between a car and truck at approximately 3pm, on the M11 at Gorey, Co. Wexford, this afternoon.
“A female in her 40s, the driver of the car was taken to Tallaght University Hospital to be treated for her injuries.
It is believed that the air ambulance attended the scene.
Junction 23 known as Raheenagurren and Junction 24 Frankfort lead motorists into and from the busy towns of Gorey and Enniscorthy.
The N11 road is a national primary road in Ireland, running for 129 km along the east side of Ireland from Dublin to Wexford.
