Update: Woman fighting for life after fall on Mathew Street say police
A woman remains in a critical condition after being attacked in Liverpool city centre.
The victim, in her 20s, was reportedly attacked by another woman on Mathew Street. Emergency services were called to the scene, at around 2.50am on Thursday, February 16.
They found a woman had suffered serious head injuries and she was rushed to hospital. Officers have confirmed the victim remained in hospital in a critical but stable condition.

Detectives said they had arrested a 24-year-old woman on suspicion of assault. She is currently in police custody.
