She added that several other woman have reached out to her since she shared her story, claiming to have been in a relationship with her ex when they were still together.
Vanessa, from the US, explained: "It all started when I was on a girl's trip in Mexico. Roe vs Wade just got overturned that morning and I was calling all the women in my life just to see how they were and to check on them.
"When I got to my mum she was obviously distraught, crying. I didn't think anything of it because she's a woman, raising a woman in America, and she knows multiple other woman who would be affected by this.
"Two days later I call my mum just to check on her and she's still audibly distraught, you could tell she'd be crying. She ended up just telling me after a few minutes, she was like, I'm pregnant."
Vanessa was initially 'really happy and excited' for her mum, as she 'never thought' that she would have a younger sibling. But as the whole picture came to light, she was left completely devastated.
"When she told me I was just congratulating her and talking about next steps, I said have you booked the first ultrasound and [asked] how are you feeling, making funny jokes talking about [baby] names," Vanessa added.
She then says her mum 'cut her off' and admitted that she was having a child with Vanessa's boyfriend at the time, who she calls John for the purpose of the video. She said: "I asked her to repeat myself because, keep in mind I'm a little bit drunk, I'm in Mexico, come on, I was like, 'what?' and then she says it's by John.
"After I heard that, my soul left my body and everything that came after that, I was not ready for".
Vanessa's story has gone viral on the platform, with 3.8 million views on the app to date. The heartbroken woman posted another follow-up to her original clip, where she details even more betrayals from her ex. She continued: "As soon as I got off the call, all I could think to do was block. I block her and I block him immediately. At this point, as you can imagine the trip is over, I pack my bags and come back home.
"Once next steps were figured out, that's when I went back to the house to go and pack everything up and move into my new place. I walked into the house and everything was gone, cleared out, he was out of there".
Vanessa revealed that her ex-boyfriend took her things "in order to get me to have a conversation with him" which riled Vanessa even further. She said: "I asked him if he understands the magnitude of what he's done to me, he says he's sorry and he told me that if I come back he'll make things right and we can rebuild our relationship and that my mother would take care of the child."
Visibly shocked at recounting the ordeal, Vanessa said: "At that point I gave him the ultimatum, I was like give me my things or I'm putting you in jail. Ultimately he gave my things back".
She confirmed that she hadn't spoken to her ex-boyfriend or mother since, but new revelations about her ex came to light after she shared her story online. "I had multiple woman reach out to me on socials once started coming out with the story and they've let me know that they've either had relations with him or they were in long term relationships with him," she claims.
After bravely sharing her ordeal, Vanessa said: "Right now I'm in new place and trying to heal and trying to move on with my life".
Thousands of people have flocked to the comments on Vanessa's videos to offer support and share their shock at the disloyalty from her mother and ex-partner. One person wrote "That is absolutely unforgivable" while another added "I would never forgive the both of them that’s excruciating".
Another TikTok user shared: "When you said 'my soul left my body' I felt your pain. I’ve been there before".
