Police are now renewing the appeal for anyone with dashcam or doorbell videos in that South Gloucestershire street to come forward, as they are still trying to piece together what happened.

The incident happened at 1pm on Friday, July 15 in Birdwood in Hanham. The woman was struck by the red Royal Mail van and the driver of the van remained at the scene with the woman until emergency services arrived.

"We have informed the next of kin and they are being supported by specially trained family liaison officers. Our thoughts are with them at this difficult time.
