A woman was taken to hospital after being hit by a car at a major junction.
Police were called to the scene on Prescot Road in Old Swan at around 1.20pm on Wednesday (April 5). The crash involved a woman pedestrian and a car at the junction of Prescot Road and Baden Road.
The woman suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital as a precaution. According to traffic monitoring site Inrix, the road was partially blocked while police responded to the incident.

A Merseyside Police spokesperson said: "At around 1.20pm, it was reported that a vehicle had been involved in a collision with a woman at the junction of Prescot Road and Baden Road.
"The pedestrian sustained minor injuries and was taken to hospital as a precaution. The driver of the vehicle stopped at the scene."
