One woman has been branded a 'genius' after discovering a way to request her favourite song from the DJ - without having to yell over noisy club music. Fátima Camarena has had the code for a Spotify playlist tattooed on her arm, and simply shows the DJ the ink when she wants to make a request.
In a video, filmed in Mexico, music lover Fátima can be seen showing her unique tattoo to a DJ, while her pal, Jonatan Zamora, hovers his phone lens over the body art. In a matter of mere seconds, Jonatan's phone links up the desired Spotify playlist, and the speakers begin blasting out a new track.
The song in question is called Que Ricos Cocos (What Delicious Coconuts), by Mexican band Mi Banda El Mexicano, and Fátima can't get enough of it.
Explaining the meaning behind the unusual - and very useful - ink, Jonatan said: "She is a super fan of the band, Mi Banda El Mexicano, and whilst we were at a party, she asked to play that song (What Delicious Coconuts) because she was about to go to Cancun!
"We all liked it because of the rhythm and the peculiar way in which Fátima sang it, and from then we put it in all the party playlists! One day she went to get a tattoo and she came to us with the surprise that she had tattooed the song, so if she was at a party she would just need to stretch out her arm and say, put that on."
Followers have been left wowed by Fátima's quirky tattoo, and the clip went on to clock up 7.2 million views and 882,900 likes.
One person applauded: "That's my kind of girl. She knows what she likes."
A second person joked that "She's ready to party anytime", while another wrote "This woman is so smart that she can get her favourite song played while drunk."
