Woman furious as 'awful' £10 tattoo costs a lot more to be removed

A woman was furious after discovering it would cost her hundreds to have a £10 tattoo removed - but she said she had to as the inking looked 'awful'.

TikTok user Tiffany got the tattoo in tribute to her late grandmother, and it was supposed to read 'Nanny' in a Victorian-style font.

But somehow there was a mishap, as the botched design looked like it had been inked by an amateur, as the Daily Star reports.

Tiffany decided to get the inking removed but she was in for a shock, as although getting it done was cheap it was costing her a lot more to get it removed.

What do you think about Tiffany's tattoo? Let us know in the comments...

Tiffany shared an image of the tattoo in a video on TikTok, and it shows the lines of the drawing which have been written in a shaky fashion, with each letter varying considerably in size and seeming to be squashed in towards the end of the word.

In comparison to the original, it looks more like it reads 'Nonny'.

She captioned the post by saying: "£10 tattoo that's costing me hundreds to get removed."

Tiffany revealed in the comments that she has now begun a laser removal process after she had stuck with the tattoo for nine years.

But she also dropped hints it might not be her only one to get rid of, adding in the caption: "Did I learn after that or did I go get another cheap awful tattoo?"

Meanwhile, the moment that Will Smith slapped Chris Rock at this year's Oscars ceremony has been immortalised - as a tattoo lover got a frame from the video inked on his leg.

It was the moment that defined the event on March 28, and since then a video of the incident has been shared far and wide.

Jon Arton, 36, is a tattoo artist working in Birmingham and he was approached by a customer who said they wanted to get a tattoo to remember the moment.

Jon thought that was hilarious so together they decided which frame from the video the anonymous customer wanted, and soon they had it immortalised in ink on their leg.
