A Lanarkshire woman fractured a police officer's ankle after being escorted from a gathering during lockdown.
Yvonne Johnston lashed out at PC Rebecca Ferns at her flat in Rutherglen on April 24, 2021.
The 41-year-old had initially fled from officers who attended the gathering in order to take personal details.
Johnston kicked and fell on top of the 27-year-old constable during a struggle.
PC Ferns was off on long term sick and had to wear a walking boot as a result of her injuries.
Johnston pled guilty today at Glasgow Sheriff Court to assaulting PC Ferns.
She also admitted resisting, obstructing or hindering police officers in the execution of their duty.
The court heard officers attended Johnston's flat at 11.16pm due to reports of an "ongoing disturbance".
Prosecutor Hannah Sweeney said: "Multiple units attended and the required details from the people there.
"Johnston tried to walk away for officers without providing information."
She was later arrested and as officers tried to put handcuffs on her she said: "Is that f****** right, aye?"
Miss Sweeney said: "During a struggle, [Johnston] lashed out at PC Ferns with her legs kicking her.
"This resulted on her falling to the ground and Johnston falling on top of her - injuring the officer."
Fast straps were applied to Johnston and during a further struggle another officer received a cut to her right arm.
PC Ferns was X-rayed at hospital meantime to find she had a fractured ankle.
Miss Sweeney added: "She was placed in a walking boot and further appointments were arranged.
"She was off work on long term sick."
Claire McCarron, defending, told the court that Johnston is a single mum-of-two.
Sentence was deferred pending background reports until next month by sheriff Johanna Johnston QC who continued her bail meantime.
The sheriff said: "All sentencing options will be available.
"You caused injury to a police officer and you must take responsibility for that."
