Woman found dead in Scottish city property as police launch investigation

A POLICE probe is underway after a woman was found dead in a Glasgow property.

Officers were called to an address on Burgh Hall Street in the West End following the death of a 48-year-old woman.

Emergency services were alerted to the incident at around 3pm on Monday, February 24.

At the moment, the woman's death is being treated as unexplained. 

An investigation is ongoing.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Around 3pm on Monday, February 24, 2025, we were called to a property in Burgh Hall Street, Glasgow following the death of a 48-year-old woman.

“The death is being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing.”
