When it comes to dating, everyone has their own ideas of what's romantic and what's not - and for one couple, dinner in a Wetherspoons pub was all it took for them to fall in love.
Felicia DiSalvo, a student from New York, forked out a whopping £1,300 to fly from the US to Manchester to meet her online chess pal. She and Zak Broadhurst, 22, had been playing together online for a while but had never met, until he persuaded her to jump on a plane - and in return he'd treat her to dinner at the Moon Under the Water in Manchester city centre.
Felicia flew 3,500 miles to meet Zak and the pair claim they then fell for each other over a meal of fish, chips and curry sauce.

While enjoying their dinner, the lovebirds also took part in an amusing Wetherspoons 'game' where you have to count how many chips you are given with your meal.
They were given 22 chips, in case you were wondering.
Felicia has since claimed her trip to the UK was "spontaneous".
She said: "When you spontaneously meet a British person on the internet and learn all the Spoons lore.
"So you fly all the way to count 22 chips and play chess over curry sauce instead of chess.com.
"Zak thank you for changing the trajectory of my life decisions this rapidly."
During her visit, the American ended up going back to the pub five times because she loved it so much, branding Spoons an "enchanting" place and sharing how she wished there was one in the US.
"Spoons is just so enchanting," she added.
The pair sat at the same table - number 38 - during each of their dates.
Zak claims he knew she’d love the boozer - which is where he goes for breakfast and on his work breaks.
The couple have already started planning their next meet up - in another Wetherspoons pub - but this time in York where Zak is going to study psychology.
