Woman flabbergasted as Harry Potter gift she ordered SIX years ago finally arrives

If you've ever been left waiting for a package for longer than you expected, you'll know how frustrating it can be when you find out the delivery has been delayed by a few days.

But one woman was left flabbergasted when a package arrived on her doorstep recently - as it turned out to be a Harry Potter-themed keyring that she had ordered way back in 2017.

Laura Vidal explained she purchased a mini Lego keyring of the popular Harry Potter character Draco Malfoy from AliExpress six years ago, but when it never arrived, she gave up hope and assumed it would never come.

Fast forward to 2023, however, and Laura was gobsmacked to find the tiny figurine inside a package on her doorstep - over half a decade later than it was supposed to be delivered.

Laura, from Mallorca, found the situation hilarious and shared the delayed delivery on social media, where it quickly racked up over 65,000 likes.

She said: "I just received a @aliexpresses keychain that I ordered on May 1, 2017."

An online retail service AliExpress, which is based in China, was quick to respond to the hilarious situation themselves, as a spokesperson replied to Laura's tweet to make light of the delivery blunder.

They wrote: "Patience is the mother of all sciences, Laura."

Fellow commenters were also left laughing over Laura's tweet, with many of them saying they are also waiting for parcels they ordered years ago - and they now won't give up hope.

One person said: "The extender for my watch has not arrived, I ordered it in June 2019 - I still have hope."

While another added: "Deserves a gift for being the mother of patience!"

And a third wrote: "It can't be possible!"

Meanwhile, another woman was previously left baffled after she received a bag of onions in the post instead of the pair of Levi jeans she had ordered from a seller on Depop.

The situation even left the independent seller confused, as they swore they had packaged up the jeans as requested, and claimed the onion mix-up wasn't their doing.

Contacting the seller, the customer initially threatened to open a case with Depop - who would be able to take action if the independent seller had purposefully sent the wrong items - but the seller assured them they had no idea how the onions made their way inside the package.

The customer said: "Hello, before I open a Depop case for this, do you have any explanation why I just received a parcel with onions in it instead of the jeans I ordered?"

But the confused seller wrote back: "WHAT? Seriously?

"Um, I'm honestly really confused what the hell. [What the f**k]? I don’t understand. [What do you mean] onions? Sorry, I'm really confused, I sent the Levi's. Did it look open to you?"
