Woman FaceTimes boyfriend she fears is cheating showing her setting fire to his home

A jealous woman furious at her ' cheating ' boyfriend called him on FaceTime showing her setting light to their home, it has been reported.

Senaida Marie Soto took revenge on him after accusing her partner was being unfaithful, police claim.

The 23-year-old is accused of breaking into the San Antonio house shortly at 2am on Sunday morning.

Bexar County Sheriff’s Office said she then set fire to the sofa - whilst showing him what was doing.

The flames quickly engulfed the entire home as the fire service were called.

The woman from Texas, US, was later arrested after being tracked down by officers.

“Soto had FaceTimed her boyfriend, when another woman answered his phone, who later turned out to be a relative of the boyfriend,” police said.

“I hope your stuff is going to be ok,” the woman reportedly said before ending the video call.

Soto also allegedly texted her boyfriend, “I hope your house is okay” before driving away from the property.

A witness told police her car was filled with a number of items she allegedly removed from the home before setting it on fire.

She was arrested Monday and charged with burglary habitation and arson, police records show.

The blaze caused over $50,000 (£41,000) worth of damage.
