Woman discovers face of 'baby alien' in her cabbage, but son sees Medusa

A woman was left completely stunned after noticing what looked to be an alien inside her cabbage.

Mirjana Mohenski was preparing a salad for her kids but saw the mysterious figure when she chopped into a red cabbage, and the surprise gave her the fright of her life.

Across many supermarkets Brits are struggling to get their hands on basic produce like tomatoes and cucumbers but this situation gave Mirjana an entirely different nightmare to worry about.

The inside of the cabbage features a figure which looks exactly like an alien, and the mum's social media post left many others feeling creeped out by the mysterious figure.

The purple vegetable appears to feature a spooky character with their arms raised. It also seems to have piercing eyes which struck many people as very alien-like.

Mirjana thought it looked like a Martian and said: "It's so scary."

However, her son was not so sure. While agreeing it was a bit odd, he said it looked more like a figure from Greek mythology instead.

"My son thought it was Medusa," she explained.

But other shoppers were in agreement that it looks like an alien.

Andrew Bolek joked: "Take me to your leader."

"It's a baby alien," said another, while Eric Falkes said "I thought it was an onion doing the Macarena."

However, shopper Amber Perkins saw something completely different.

She said, "Almost a cabbage version of the Scream,"

Karen Gibson Lockwood said: "Looks like she's washing her hair."

Whilst shopper Amanda Phillips didn't see anything else but a nightmare.

She said: "Sheer terror."
