A 67-year-old woman has died following a crash in Caerphilly borough.
Sandra Chamberlain died of her injuries at University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff after she was hit by a car on Friday, December 9, at Pantycefn Road in Markham.
The incident happened at around 11.20am, Gwent Police officers said, and involved a silver Nissan Navara.
Following the collision emergency services attended quickly including police, the air ambulance and the ambulance service.
A 39-year-old woman from Markham has been arrested on suspicion of causing injury by dangerous driving and has been released while officers continue their investigation.
