Woman dies at Center Parcs Elveden Forest as emergency services called to medical incident

A woman has died at Center Parcs' Elveden Forest centre in Suffolk. Emergency services were called to the resort, near Brandon in north Suffolk, just after 6.40pm on Wednesday, June 7 following a medical incident.

Suffolk Police have confirmed a woman in her 30s was pronounced dead at the scene but there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances. The death is being treated as unexplained and a file will be prepared for the coroner, Suffolk Live reports.

In a statement, a spokesperson for Center Parcs, which is headquartered in Nottinghamshire, said: "We are deeply saddened by the news of a guest passing away at Center Parcs Elveden Forest.

"Our thoughts are with her family and friends at this distressing time. We are continuing to offer our support to her family and also to our colleagues who assisted emergency services."
