A woman has died after a two car crash.
Emergency services, including police and the fire service, rushed to the crash at around 2.30pm on Sunday, February 5. They found a Vauxhall Meriva and a Mercedes had been in crash at the junction of Green Lane and Guernsey Road.
Two people, the front seat passenger and driver in the Mervia, were taken to hospital with serious injuries. Police have now confirmed that the passenger, a 79-year-old woman, died a short time later.

The driver, an 83-year-old man, remains in hospital. The woman's next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers.
A 29-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing death by careless/inconsiderate driving and drug driving. He has been released on bail as enquiries continue.
Detective Sergeant Amy Murray, from the Matrix Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: "Our thoughts at this time are with the family and friends of the lady who sadly passed away yesterday. We are continuing to make enquiries and would ask anyone who was in the area of Green Lane and Guernsey Road at around 2.30pm who witnessed anything or captured anything significant on the dashcam to contact us as a matter of urgency.
