A woman was cut from a car and taken to hospital after a crash in Tameside this morning.
Emergency services were called to the scene near The Arcade building on High Street in Stalybridge at around 7am. A car smashed into a pole, police said.
Firefighters freed a woman from the car and she was taken to hospital with a neck injury. Her injury is not believed to be life-threatening.

High Street was closed off for more than an hour after the incident as emergency services responded. In a statement, a Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: "At around 7am this morning (01/08/2022) we received a call about an RTC outside the Arcade on Stalybridge.
"A vehicle had collided with a pole and was suspended at an angle –fire attended the scene to help the driver out of her vehicle. The driver was taken to hospital with a neck injury that is not life-threatening.
A tweet posted by TfGM said: "Tame St, Stalybridge is CLOSED at the junction of High Street. This is due to a road traffic collision.
"Queues are starting to form there so if you're planning on heading this way, you may wish to take an alternative route. #TfGMTraffic for updates."
