A woman has collapsed and died at a Wirral café.
Elephant Coffee said customers rushed to help the woman after she collapsed at their café on High Street in Neston on Wednesday, March 29. Police and paramedics were called to the scene just before 2pm, but despite the best efforts of everyone involved the 63-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Cheshire Police said the woman's death is not believed to be suspicious and her next of kin have been informed.

Elephant Collective said in a statement last night: "Today there was an unfortunate incident in Elephant Coffee whereby a customer of ours collapsed.
"We cannot emphasise enough our amount of admiration and appreciation to the few of our customers who so quickly, selflessly stepped in and helped. Our appreciation also goes to the emergency services for such a fast response to the situation.
"As you can imagine this was an extremely stressful moment to all those involved, including our staff members. We would therefore ask for and appreciate full discretion on this topic when speaking to our team."
A spokesperson from Cheshire Police said: "Officers were called just before 2pm on Wednesday 29 March to a coffee shop on High Street, Neston following reports of a concern for the welfare of a woman.
"Emergency services swiftly attended the scene but, despite best efforts of all involved, a 63-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Her next of kin have been informed."
