A woman has been charged with intimidation and publicly threatening violence on the grounds of religion after confronting a woman wearing a pro-Palestine T-shirt at Kmart in Bankstown.

The woman then gets close to the person filming and continues yelling, saying, “Fuck Allah, every fucking day. Fuck off,” before walking away.

In a separate video the person filming, who said her name was Mariam, said she was shopping with her daughter at the time.

The 39-year-old woman was arrested at a home in Parramatta on Sunday afternoon.

She was taken to Granville police station and charged with publicly threatening violence on grounds of religion, behaving in an offensive manner in a public place, using offensive language in a public place and intimidation offences.

She was refused bail to appear before Parramatta local court on Monday.
