An elderly woman was strangled and another forced to eat dog biscuits during a spate of violent attacks at a Perth war memorial.
The women were victims of three separate attacks near the War Memorial in Kings Park on Saturday.
During the first attack, police allege a woman aged in her 50s was indecently assaulted by an unknown woman who then threw her mobile phone into water.
Five minutes later another woman, also aged in her 50s, was walking her dog near the memorial when she was kicked and punched a number of times before being struck with a water bottle to her face.
Her attacker then forced dog biscuits into her mouth after kicking the dog.
A short time later, police say a woman aged in her 70s was also set upon when she visited the memorial.
It's alleged she was indecently assaulted by a woman, who then put her arm around her neck causing her to have difficulty breathing.
WA police arrested a 41-year-old woman at the scene and charged her with a number of offences including unlawful and indecent assault and cruelty to animals.
She was refused bail and was expected to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court on Sunday afternoon.
