A woman has been charged in connection with a crash on the M8 last year that resulted in the death of a 14-year-old girl.
The incident happened on Sunday, October 17 last year on the M8 westbound, near to junction 4A for Whitburn and involved a brown Ford Focus and a black Volkswagen Golf.
Following the collision, a 14-year-old girl, who was a passenger in the Ford Focus, was taken to hospital where she died on Sunday, October 24.
Police confirmed a 38-year-old woman has been charged in connection with alleged road traffic offences following a fatal road collision last year.
She will be the subject of a report to the Procurator Fiscal.
