There are many elements to moving house that can feel out of your control, whether you're waiting nervously for your sale to go through or find unexpected damage to the property when you finally get the keys. One part that can prove to be the most stressful is realising that you've got difficult neighbours upon arrival, as they can make your life hell with loud noise, aggressive behaviour or even stealing your belongings.
While most of us have heard horror stories of sneaky neighbours pinching wheelie bins or even deliveries, one woman has caught her neighbour red handed when they stole her garden furniture so brazenly that she could see it from across the fence.

Taking to TikTok to reveal the furniture saga, a woman known as Lia confronted her neighbour and caught the exchange on camera and her next door neighbour's reaction was surprising.
Recording footage of herself in her back garden, Lia, who posts under the handle @ propertycouple on the platform, explained: "My neighbours have stolen my garden furniture".
Panning to her garden furniture set showing two chairs, the woman then points her camera towards her neighbour's garden where her other two chairs are mysteriously residing.
She continued: "So I bought a set of four, there's two there [in her garden] and I can literally see the other two in their garden".
Frustrated by the blatant nabbing, Lia swiftly realised that her neighbour was in their garden while filming so decided to bite the bullet and confront them
She says: "Excuse me mate, hiya, I noticed that my garden furniture is there, can I have it back? I think someone from your house keeps stealing my garden furniture".
A man from next door then comes into frame, and begins to hand Lia her furniture back over the fence.
Lia then offers the man some other garden furniture that came with her house that she didn't want, but the neighbour declined the offer.
In a surprising response to the woman calling him out, the neighbour said: "I woke up one morning and they were outside and I was shocked myself".
Lia shows her shock at her neighbour's apparent confusion at the end of the clip, where her mouth gapes open after his claims.
People are flabbergasted by the neighbour's brazen behaviour and praised the woman for being so polite when confronting him.
One commenter said: "How does anyone do that just steal for [sic] a neighbour what do they think will happen" with a laughing emoji.
Another commended the woman's efforts, writing: "That was the nicest exchange, put a camera up".
Others shared their shock that the exchange was so cordial, with one person commenting: "This is very unexpected that they just handed it back, people who take things are not normally as accommodating as this, so brilliant with no arguments".
