Dublin Airport has been coming under fire for a whole host of reasons over the past few months, but it seems as one issue is resolved, another arises.
Incredibly long queues and missed flights may be a thing of the past now - with just peak times experiencing delays - however, the general hygiene of the airport and the cost of eating and drinking now has people talking.
Although the price of alcohol and food has always seemed higher in the airport, one passenger has slammed the crazy price she paid for a glass of wine on a recent trip.
She took to twitter, with an image of her receipt and wrote: “I could forgive the dirt of the place & overflowing bins but almost €12 for a glass of wine #DublinAirport.”
Many people were divided over her complaint, some sided with her, as one person wrote: “It’s the worst airport, and town I’ve ever been to for outrageous prices.”

Another said: “That’s a sin to be charging that price for a glass of vino when people are struggling to pay their bills in Ireland.”
However, others disagreed with her comments, and one person pointed out: “But you did voluntarily pay €12 for that glass of wine. Did you really need it or was it just because you were at the airport? If we refuse to pay those prices they will fall.”
A second wrote: “Your arm must be sore from the staff twisting it and forcing you to buy it.”
