A woman was forced to phone the police after she discovered World War II weapons and blackmail photos hidden inside a house she bought at auction.
Tiffany Ma, 28, from LA, and her partner Matt bought the run-down property with the goal of transforming it into a profitable home.
However, the pair got more than they bargained for after they received a phone call telling them that the property had been broken into just days before they moved in.

A few days after they were handed the keys, the couple were approached by a young man claiming to be the nephew of the previous owner, reports the Daily Star.
He had asked if they could get the items from the safe — but the couple had already found out that the previous owner had died without leaving a will.
However, when they went inside, they noticed that the safe had marks on it that suggested someone had already tried opening it.
Tiffany explained that she was forced to call in a contractor to open the safe with a grinder and a pickaxe after receiving an unnerving phone call.
The couple found a "World War II dagger", several engagement rings and "a bunch of photos that could definitely be used as blackmail", according to the video she shared on TikTok.
But they also claim to have found something creepier, which they weren't able to reveal due to police instructions.
Tiffany told her followers: "We found some heirlooms like an engagement ring, a bunch of photos that could definitely be used as blackmail, a tonne of rare bills and old coins that are probably worth more than a Birkin.
"We even found a World War II dagger that was for the bad guys.
"But honestly, the craziest thing we found, I'm not even allowed to tell you guys because we have to get the police involved."
The couple cleaned the home up after the police finished checking the property and decided to tear it down and rebuild it from scratch.
