A woman has issued a warning to others after suffering a major internet shopping fail.
She told how she decided to treat herself to a large, fluffy rug from online retailer Shein and was delighted to see it cost a bargain €14.50.
From the photos, the snowy white rug appeared to be big enough to cover a large part of her floor and she thought it would be perfect for transforming her bedroom.

However, when the package finally arrived, she was baffled as she unwraped something utterly unrecognisable.
Sharing a video on TikTok, where she goes by the username @crackermania, the 17-year-old claps her hand to her mouth as she reveals what her supposed bargain buy actually looked like.
Warning her followers to "always read the reviews" first, the US-based teen could barely contain her laughter as she compared a pic of the advertised rug with what was actually delivered.
Showing the titchy-tiny patch of fabric next to her foot for scale, it was clear it would have been too small to use as a doormat, let alone a cosy bedroom rug.
Her followers were left in hysterics at the sight of the dishcloth-sized rug, with one person remarking that it looked like "a rug for ants".
Another person jokingly suggested: "Maybe it grows if you put it in water?"
A third person took a more positive view, laughing: "But like it’d be cute to go on a nightstand or vanity."
Mirror UK has reached out to Shein for comment.
