Woman baffled as husband sleeps with eyes wide open - others say they'd have to dump him

While being in a relationship often means that you have to accept your partner's flaws for what they are, a woman has admitted that she's 'freaked out' when her husband sleeps beside her with his eyes wide open. After sharing footage of her husband asleep online, Payton Vidmar's video has raked in a whopping 26.2 million views.

Payton - who boasts more than 23,000 followers on TikTok account @paytonvidmar - shared her viral clip to the popular video-streaming platform The TikToker's video revealed 'scary' proof that her husband sleeps with his eyes wide open - and people have shockingly admitted that they'd have to dump him.

In the video, Payton explained: "This is proof that my husband actually sleeps with his eyes open - it freaks me the f*** out every time I look."

She then pans over to her sleeping husband, who seems to be staring at her wide eyed. Instead, he was actually asleep - according to Payton.

Bursting into a fit of laughter, the TikToker calls out her partner's name to wake him up.

After blinking, the husband looks around a few times before staring at the camera with utter confusion.

Captioning the post, Payton wrote: "Please ignore my laugh I've been sick."

Since sharing her video, the TikTok has raked in over 58,000 comments from users who admitted being 'deadly afriad' by the peculiar sleeping habit.

In one extreme case, someone admitted that if they were Payton they'd have to 'divorce' her husband.

One person admitted: "I'd be so scared."

"I WOULD BE DEADLY AFRAID," a second agreed.

A third wrote: "NOOOOOO I WOULD HAVE JUMPED OUT MY SKIN."

A different user penned: "Nah, divorce."

Another TikToker replied: "fr - he need a sleeping mask IMMEDIATELY."

Meanwhile, a sixth said: "Mine too. Wide open, and when we first got together HE DIDNT TELL ME. The first time I rolled over and saw him staring at me I thought he was DEAD."
