A woman out for a morning walk was allegedly assaulted in Co Louth on Tuesday.
Gardai are probing an attack in the Old Bridge area of Drogheda at 8am where a woman is believed to have been attacked by a man. The woman is not thought to have been seriously injured.
Officers confirmed to the Irish Mirror that investigations are ongoing and no arrests have been made.
A garda spokesperson said: "Gardaí are investigating an incident of assault that occurred at Old Bridge, Drogheda on the morning of Tuesday 19th April, 2022 at approximately 8am.
"The incident of an alleged assault on a female woman is under investigation."
