A woman has been struck in the face during an alleged assault in Botanic Gardens in Belfast on Friday afternoon.
The incident was reported at around 4.30pm, with a police car seen in the area around that time.
One man has been arrested by detectives, who are treating the assault as a hate crime.

PSNI Sergeant Brown said: "It was reported just after 4.30pm that a woman was struck in the face by a man. There have been no reports of any serious injuries at this time.
"One man, aged in his forties, was arrested on suspicion of a number of offences and remains in custody at this time, assisting with enquiries.
"At this time, we are treating this as a hate crime and anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting reference 1476 of 28/4/23."
