Woman attacked by stranger near south-east London train station

Police would like to speak to this man - (British Transport Police)

Police are trying to trace a man after a woman was kicked at a station in south-east London.

The woman was walking into Abbey Wood Railway Station around 6pm on August 20 when a man approached her and kicked her leg.

Her leg was bruised and the woman suffered mobility issues after the apparently random attack.

More than two months later, she is still receiving treatment for her injuries.

British Transport Police on Friday released CCTV images of a man they would like help identifying.

Anyone who witnessed the incident, recognises the man in the CCTV images is asked to contact BTP by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference658 20 August.
