Woman arrested for attempted murder after man stabbed at home in Cardiff

A woman has been arrested for attempted murder after a 32-year-old man was allegedly stabbed at a house in Cardiff.

Police were called to a residential property in the early hours of Sunday morning following reports of a stabbing on Plymouth Wood Road in Ely. Officers arrested a 29-year-old woman who is understood to know the injured male.

Residents on the street woke to find the whole road cordoned off by police and forensic teams entering the property to carry out their investigations. Police were called just before 5am and few local residents were aware of what had happened.
