A 74-YEAR-OLD woman has been arrested and charged after allegedly breaching abortion protest buffer zones legislation.
It is the first case of its kind in Scotland since the restrictions came in.
Police Scotland said they had been made aware a group of protesters at the Hardgate Road area of Glasgow, close to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
Police attended and the 74-year-old woman was "arrested in connection with breach of the exclusion zone".
Later, officers confirmed she had been charged and will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal.
