A woman has been arrested following a drink driving incident in east London, the Met Police has said.
The woman drove the wrong way through a width restriction zone before colliding into the bollards on Upminster Road North, the Met said.
According to the Metropolitan Special Constabulary, the woman proceeded to leave the scene before being apprehended.
A statement from the police read: “Police were called at approximately 21:40hrs on Friday, 2 September to reports of a road traffic collision in Upminster Road North, Rainham.

“A woman was arrested on suspicion of drink drive and taken into police custody.
“No reports of any injuries.”
Enquiries into the incident are underway.
