The woman accused of ramming an ACT Corrective Services car to free her sentenced fiancé will undergo a psychiatric assessment before she is likely to plead guilty to some of her charges, her lawyer has told a court.
Lila Rose Mary Walto is facing a raft of charges - including rescuing and harbouring a prisoner - after allegedly ramming the government car in July to free prisoner Kane Quinn, who was being driven to Canberra Hospital for a medical appointment after he told them he swallowed a battery.
Mr Quinn, also known as Kane McDowall, and Ms Walto, accused of driving the Jeep, then went on the run.
The pair, both 28 at the time, were arrested at a Lyneham house within hours.
Ms Walto appeared via phone in the ACT Magistrates Court on Monday when her lawyer Carley Hitchins said that while no pleas have been entered, it was likely her client would plead guilty to "some of the charges".
Ms Hitchins said Ms Walto needed to undergo a psychiatric assessment first before entering pleas formally and she applied for the matter to be adjourned to March 2.
The prosecution did not oppose the application and magistrate Glenn Theakston granted it after saying "that's quite a long adjournment".
Ms Hitchins said her client had been booked in for the assessment.
The court previously heard Ms Walto told police in an interview she wanted to start a new life with Mr Quinn and her children after the alleged prison escape.

Prosecution documents tendered to the court state on July 9, she allegedly stole the Jeep from a Fyshwick dealer before the dramatic incident with Mr Quinn, listed as her fiancé in the documents.
Other charges Ms Walto is facing include assaulting frontline community service provider, dangerous driving, arson and assault.
Mr Quinn has pleaded not guilty to a charge of escaping lawful custody.
