A 75-year-old woman has died in a house fire, emergency services have confirmed.
Gwent Police officers were called to a house in Abergavenny on Tuesday morning following reports of the fire.
They were called to the address at Laburnum Walk at 8:30am on February 15 but the woman had already died.

A spokesperson for the force said: “A 75-year-old woman from the Abergavenny area was found dead inside the property and her next of kin have been informed.
“The death is not being treated as suspicious at this time and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
“A report has been submitted to the coroner in relation to the death.
“Firefighters from the South Wales Fire and Rescue Service also attended.”
