The seizures are the work of a special police team targeting troublemakers on the streets of South Sefton. Operation Pelican was set up in 2017 to disrupt gangs causing misery through drug dealing and shootings in Bootle, Netherton, Litherland and neighboring communities.
In a post on Facebook, officers said: "Operation Pelican Officers have last night arrested two adult males aged 25 and 27 and a 62-year-old female all from the #Seaforth area for drug supply and money laundering offences. Officers stopped a vehicle in #Waterloo and detained an adult male and female.
"During a search of the vehicle a large quantity of cash estimated to be over £1500 was seized believed to be from the proceeds of crime. A small amount of cannabis was also seized. Officers have then carried out a search of a premises in #Seaforth and recovered a large quantity of Heroin bagged up ready for onward supply (over 300 wraps).
"As a result a further adult male was arrested. All three adults remain in custody for questioning by detectives."
