A 61-year-old woman is planning to have a baby with her husband - despite being 37 years his senior.
Cheryl McCain, 61, and Quran, 24, have found a surrogate to carry their baby and shared their exciting news to followers on TikTok.
The couple have been targeted by trolls online since the update.
But Cheryl, who met Quran when he was just 15 as he was working at her son's fast food restaurant in Georgia, US, is determined to defy her critics.
"Our baby is coming soon," Cheryl said on TikTok.
"We’re finally about to have our baby."
The cruel trolls suggested it would be "unfair" to have a baby at Cheryl's age.
One woman posted online: "On the real I’m 45 and now a grandma I considered having a baby at 40 but it’s not fair for the child in my opinion.
"I just enjoy my grandkids."
But someone else wrote: "Why does everyone in the comments have to be rude?
"They are happy and they should do what makes them happy. I’m excited for you guys."
Cheryl, who has 17 grandchildren, and Quran began dating in 2020 and Quran proposed in July last year.
They eloped to Tennessee in September that year, with only two friends present.
Speaking earlier this year about her plans to start a family with Quran, Cheryl said: "He’s always wanted children and I want to be the mother to his child.
"Of course, because of my age we'll have to get a surrogate or adopt which we're looking into."
Cheryl, who already has seven grown-up children, continued: "People say I'm selfish and too old to be a mum now, but I don't worry about not being here to look after the child."
When it was rumoured she had split with Quran earlier this year, defiant Cheryl said she and her toyboy “ain’t going nowhere”.
