A woman in her 50s has died after she got into difficulty while swimming off the coast of Wicklow.
Gardaí and emergency services responded to a call-out at North Beach, Greystones, at around 12.30pm after three women aged in their 50s were reported to have gotten into trouble whilst swimming.
The women all required medical treatment, but sadly one was pronounced dead at the scene.

Her body has since been removed to the mortuary at Loughlinstown, where a post-mortem will take place at a later date.
The second woman was taken to St Vincent's Hospital to be treated for her injuries.
A third female was treated at the scene by emergency services.
A garda spokesperson said: "Gardaí and Emergency services attended at North Beach, Greystones, Co Wicklow on Saturday 23 April 2022, shortly after 12:30pm following reports of three swimmers in trouble.
"Three women, all aged in their 50s were taken from the water. One of the women was pronounced dead at the scene. Her body has since been removed to the mortuary at Loughlinstown where a post-mortem will take place at a later date.
"A second female was taken to St Vincents Hospital to be treated for her injuries. A third female was treated at the scene by emergency services."
