A man and woman were arrested on suspicion of drug offences after police stopped a car in Bootle.
Police stopped the car yesterday morning after they spotted a suspected ' drug transaction'.
When officers searched the car they found mobile phones and cash.

Police said a woman was found to have 'secreted numerous wraps of suspected crack cocaine and heroin.'
A 46-year-old man and woman, 47, were both arrested on suspicion of drug supply offences. The man and woman are both from Waterloo.
A police spokesman said: "Officers sighted a vehicle in a drug transaction in #Bootle, both occupants were detained and mobile phones and cash were recovered. During a further search the female was found to have secreted numerous wraps of suspected crack cocaine and heroin."
The activity formed part of a crime strategy known as Operation Pelican.
