A woman has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man was stabbed to death in north London.
Police were called to reports of a disturbance at a residential address in St Johns Court, Queen’s Drive, Hackney at 10.53pm on Monday.
Officers, paramedics and London’s Air Ambulance responded and found the victim aged 56 with a knife wound.
Despite the best efforts of the emergency services, he was pronounced dead at 11.41pm.

A 42-year-old woman detained at the scene remains in custody.
A crime scene is in place 400 yards from Finsbury Park Underground and railway station.
A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: “Officers are working to inform next of kin.

“A post-mortem examination will be held in due course.”
Detectives are trying to establish a motive.
