Woman, 22, told mum 'I think I'm going to die' before suffering five heart attacks

A tragic 22-year-old woman said "I think I'm going to die" before suffering five heart attacks.

Jodie McCann, who was fit and healthy, called her mum, Sloane, from hospital and said she felt as though she was having a heart attack.

She was rushed to the ICU where doctors put her put on a ventilator and dialysis machine, Birmingham Live reports.

Just days later, she suffered four heart attacks and sadly passed away.

Her heartbroken mum said: "Jodie had been in hospital for two days before everything started going downhill.

"She called me and said 'Mum, I think I'm having a heart attack. I'm going to die. I told her to press the button and call for the nurse. The next day, I got a phone call from the hospital staff to say that she'd been found facedown in her bed, unresponsive after a cardiac event.

"You don't expect your daughter to pass away after going into hospital for pancreatitis. She was healthy and used to walk everywhere. She was too young. Her little boy is only four-years-old. She had so many things to look forward to."

On GoFundMe, a fundraiser is nearing £1k.

It reads: "Everyone who knew Jodie knew she was a pleasant young lady with a pure heart of gold. She would always make her presence known. So, this is exactly what I want for her on her day.

"I want her presence known. So please guys if you could please spare whatever you can and help us give her the best send off and help treat little Freddie boy then we would be ever so grateful."
