"Emergency services attended the scene, and 20-year-old female has been taken to hospital with life threatening injuries. A cordon will remain in place at the scene to allow further enquiries to be made.”
The road re-opened at around 8.30am this morning. Earlier this year, the speed limit on the Mancunian Way was reduced from 50mph to 30mph, following a series of crashes.
