Wolves vs Liverpool: Score prediction, live stream, lineups, odds, TV channel, h2h - FA Cup preview

Wolves vs Liverpool
FA Cup, third round

Kick-Off: 7.45pm BST

The last of the FA Cup third round ties takes place at Molineux, as Wolves host Liverpool tonight.

The fourth round draw will take place immediately after full time of this one , with the winner’s (should there be one) taking ball number 31.

Seven-time winners Liverpool last lifted the trophy in 2006, while Wolves’ won their fourth and most recent FA Cup title back in 1960.

While league form is said to go out the window when the Cup comes around, it will be interesting to see how Liverpool pick themselves up from last week’s defeat to Man City – what was their first in the Premier League this season.

Wolves, meanwhile, were defeated 2-0 at home by Crystal Palace last time out.

Team News

Liverpool XI: Mignolet, Camacho, Fabinho, Lovren, Moreno, Milner, Keita, Jones, Shaqiri, Sturridge, Origi.

Subs: Kelleher, Firmino, Mane, Salah, Hoever, Christie-Davies, Alexander-Arnold.

Score Prediction: Wolves 1 Liverpool 2

Wolves have a good record over Liverpool in this competition (more on that below), but we expect the Reds to come out on top here – though only by the odd goal.

Head to Head (h2h) history and results

The history books throw up some interesting statistics ahead of this tie.

Liverpool are unbeaten in their last six trips to Molineux, having not lost their since 1981. The Reds have won the last three matches at Wolves.

But it is Wolves who hold the advantage in the FA Cup, having won four of the six meetings between the two sides. Their most recent triumph came at Anfield in 2017.
