Wolves and Liverpool face off this evening with the two sides in very contrasting positions in the Premier League table.
Gary O’Neil’s side are currently bottom on goal difference, and are one of five teams without a win heading into the weekend. Their performances, excluding 6-2 loss at home to Chelsea, have not been poor though, and they were unlucky not to get a result in either of their last two games against Newcastle and Aston Villa.

However, they will have their work cut out against Arne Slot’s side, who sit in second place. Liverpool have recovered quickly from their shock 1-0 loss at home to Nottingham Forest, winning their last three games, and scoring 11 goals in the process and recently made light work of West Ham with a 5-1 win in the Carabao Cup third round.
A win here could send them top of the table if Manchester City slip up at Newcastle earlier in the day.

Wolves vs Liverpool prediction
Wolves’ bottom-placed position is not a true reflection on their performances so far this season, but it’s hard to see them getting their first win against Arne Slot’s rampant Reds.
Expect a competitive encounter, with Liverpool’s attacking class eventually proving too much for the hosts.
Liverpool to win 3-1.
