Wolves could potentially be without key midfielder Matheus Nunes for their Wednesday night clash against Leeds United in the Carabao Cup.
The midfielder missed their weekend clash against Brighton, which saw Wolves lose 3-2 to Brighton. Nunes picked up a shoulder injury in their recent 1-1 draw with Brentford, with Wolves unsure whether or not the Portuguese international will be ready to face Leeds on Wednesday.
Interim boss Steve Davis will still be in charge of Wolves this week against Leeds despite the club naming Julen Lopetegui as their new first team boss.

Speaking after their 3-2 defeat to Brighton, Davis said about Nunes: "He was 50/50 in the week but he’s still getting pain in his shoulder so we didn’t want to risk him. I’m hoping he will be fit for either Wednesday or Saturday."
Alongside the potential return of Nunes, Wolves could also call upon the services of centre-back Toti Gomes, who has been out since October 15 with an adductor injury. He could also be fit for Wolves ahead of Leeds visit to Molineux.
However, they will be without a host of middle to long-term injuries. Pedro Neto, Chiquinho, Raul Jimenez and Sasa Kalajdzic will all miss the game against Leeds on Wednesday night.
Given how poorly Wolves have performed this term, it seems likely they could look to field a strong starting XI, in order to get themselves ready for their weekend Premier League game against Arsenal.
